ABOUT US

MLI Foundation is a registered non-profit organization, dedicated to animal welfare and environmental awareness since 2021. Our conservation endeavors include the 'Water Pot Project', aimed at aiding birds and stray animals. We've conducted workshops focusing on menstrual hygiene and solid waste management. Additionally, we've been conducting sessions for ragpicker communities and NGO-based schools to foster material literacy and deepen their comprehension of materials and systems.

Our Initiatives

Explore our initiatives, where we believe that small steps in
the right direction can lead to significant impacts.

The Water Pots Initiative

The Water Pot initiative by the MLI Foundation aims to provide access to water for animals, especially during the hot summer months. Many stray animals struggle with dehydration and health issues during this time, as they may not always have access to shelter or water. The initiative aims to place water pots in key locations to ensure that all strays have access to clean drinking water. This initiative is about compassion and taking responsibility. It serves as a reminder to care for those who cannot advocate for themselves. By supporting this initiative, we demonstrate empathy and make a meaningful impact.

Join us in this meaningful effort. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word, your contribution matters. Together, we can make a big impact and help many animals in need.

‘We need them more than they need us.’

TRAINING AND AWARENESS WORKSHOPS

The MLI Foundation has been conducting awareness workshops on health and sanitation, various types of wastes, and training sessions to educate people on the segregation of multilayered plastics. We have been inviting volunteers to support our efforts for animal welfare.

HEALTH AND SANITATION

Health and sanitation pose significant challenges for people, particularly due to a lack of awareness on these issues. We have conducted menstrual hygiene awareness sessions in villages of Haryana, educating people about menstrual health and solid waste management, particularly for complex sanitary wastes. Our primary focus is on raising awareness about the long-term effects of improper disposal practices.

SEGREGATION TRAINING

We have provided training to rag pickers in the Noida and Ghaziabad areas for the collection and segregation of multilayered plastic waste, or MLP. Currently, we are directly collecting MLP from 83 individuals who collectively employ around 600 ragpickers. We have collected more than 1100 tonnes of MLP waste and recycled it into granules for reuse within the plastic industry.

AWARENESS WORKSHOPS

We have been conducting workshops on materials and systems for NGO-based schools, community workers, and individuals. Our goal is to raise awareness among as many people as possible about waste-related issues and to educate them about conscious living.

ANIMAL WELFARE

MLI Foundation has been working under the ‘Water pot’ initiative to provide water to stray animals and birds, specifically during harsh summer months. We aim to promote compassion and responsibility towards animals.
